1. Who we are
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) cover your use of Lyriff at lyriff.com and related pages (the “Service”).
Lyriff is a product of Astralis Media Group, LLC (“we,” “us”). Contact: hello@lyriff.com.
By using Lyriff, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Lyriff is
Lyriff is a browser co-writing tool for Suno Advance Mode workflows. It helps you create paste-ready Style, Exclude, Key, lyrics, titles, and related coaching with Pauly. It also includes Audio Lab, which de-noises and masters a finished song you load, and (on a computer) mixes and masters stems you load, in your browser.
- No account is required for the core tool today.
- The Service is currently free while we learn. Features, limits, and pricing may change.
- Lyriff does not create music. Audio Lab only processes audio you supply, on your own device; your audio is not uploaded to us. Suno (and any other third-party tools you use) are separate products with their own terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. If you use Lyriff on behalf of someone else, you represent you have authority to bind them.
4. Your content — inputs
“Inputs” means anything you submit: ideas, genres, pasted lyrics, chat messages, refine notes, feedback forms, and similar.
- You retain all rights you already have in your Inputs.
- You are responsible for Inputs (accuracy, legality, third-party rights).
- Do not submit content you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful, abusive, or intended to break the Service or Suno’s rules.
- Do not submit secrets you need kept offline (API keys, passwords). Bug/feedback forms are not a vault.
Audio Lab
- You must own or have the rights to any audio you load into Audio Lab, including every stem you load into Mix & Master Stems, and to process, mix and distribute the results.
- Audio Lab’s de-noising, clipping repair, stem mixing, and mastering output, including WAV and MP3 downloads, is provided as is. We do not guarantee it will meet the loudness, format, or quality requirements of any streaming service, distributor, label, or other platform.
- You are responsible for the files you export from Audio Lab and for checking them before you release or share them.
- MP3 downloads are made with the open-source LAME encoder, licensed under the GNU LGPL. See the license and source details.
- On browsers without built-in unzip support, Mix & Master Stems opens .zip files with the open-source fflate library (MIT License, © 2023 Arjun Barrett).
You grant us a limited license to process Inputs solely to operate Lyriff for you — generate results, run the optional share-pack feature you choose, fix bugs you report, and secure/abuse-prevent the Service. We do not claim ownership of your Inputs.
5. Outputs — what Pauly returns
“Outputs” means Style / Exclude / Key text, lyrics, titles, descriptions, coaching, Before/After suggestions, and similar material Lyriff returns in response to your Inputs.
As between you and Lyriff
- We do not claim authorship of your songs.
- As between you and us, you own the Outputs we return to you, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and we assign to you any rights we may have in those Outputs (excluding our underlying software, models we do not own, trademarks, and the Lyriff/Pauly brand).
- Marketing lines such as “you keep the authorship” mean: we are not taking your songwriting credit or claiming to own your lyrics/packs. They are not a warranty that every Output is copyrightable, unique, or free of third-party claims.
AI provider (xAI)
Generation runs through xAI’s API (Grok models) under our server-side key. Under xAI’s published Enterprise Terms (as of August 14, 2026):
- Customer retains rights in Inputs submitted to the API; and
- Customer owns Outputs assigned from xAI to the customer to the fullest extent possible under applicable law.
Lyriff sits between you and that API. Our promise above is intended to pass through that ownership posture to you for the Outputs you receive in the product, without inventing rights xAI or the law do not grant.
Important limits (please read)
Because Outputs are machine-generated:
- They may be incomplete, inaccurate, awkward, or similar to Outputs other users receive.
- They may not be protectable as copyright in every jurisdiction, or may conflict with others’ rights if your Inputs (or the model) echo protected material.
- You decide what to keep, edit, perform, release, or register. Human review is on you.
- Do not misrepresent AI-assisted text as purely human-written where that would violate a platform’s rules, a label deal, or the law.
Suno’s terms, PRO registrations, split sheets, and collaborator agreements are between you and those parties — Lyriff is not a party to them.
6. What we store (and what we don’t)
Details are in the Privacy notice. In short:
- No personal generation library by default.
- Optional Quick Style share packs (
/p/…): Style / Exclude / Key only, up to 60 days, deletable via your delete link. - Local PDF export is for your copies.
- Audio Lab runs on your device: we do not receive or store your audio files or filenames (see Privacy).
- Hosting providers (Netlify, Fly.io) and analytics (Plausible) process limited technical/aggregate data as described in Privacy.
- xAI processes Inputs/Outputs to generate results. Our API team uses Zero Data Retention (see Privacy).
We do not sell your prompts or lyrics.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service in a way that harms us or other users.
- Bypass rate limits, security, or access controls.
- Use Lyriff to generate content that is illegal, or to target minors with sexual content, or to violate others’ IP or privacy.
- Attempt to extract our system prompts, API keys, or non-public internals.
- Resell raw access to our generation API as a competing API wrapper (building songs for yourself or clients with Lyriff’s UI is fine).
We may throttle, block, or refuse requests when we reasonably believe these rules are broken, or to protect the Service.
8. Third-party services
Suno, xAI, Netlify, Fly.io, Plausible, and any other tools you connect are third parties. Their terms and privacy policies govern their services. Lyriff is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or how those products treat content you paste into them.
9. “As is” — beta / free period
Lyriff is provided as is and as available, especially while free and evolving. We do not warrant uninterrupted uptime, perfect Outputs, or fitness for a particular release plan, pitch, or chart goal. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities, arising from your use of Lyriff or reliance on Outputs.
Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for Lyriff in the 12 months before the claim (currently $0 while free) or (b) USD $50.
Some places do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
11. Indemnity (simple form)
If a third party claims that your Inputs, or your use/distribution of Outputs, violated their rights or the law, you will defend and indemnify us against resulting claims and reasonable costs, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
12. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may change features, limits, or these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we publish revisions. If we add accounts or paid plans, we will update Privacy and Terms to match.
13. Termination
You may stop using Lyriff anytime. We may suspend or stop offering the Service, or block abuse, with or without notice when reasonably needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Maricopa County, Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction, except where prohibited.
